Preventive vaccine

Preventive vaccines for dogs

Puppies receive their first vaccinations at around 6 weeks of age. After that, we will set up a vaccination program with two doses given every 3 to 4 weeks, followed by a third dose at around 14 weeks of age. After the third vaccination, vaccines will be given every year.
At our hospital, we have a lineup of filarial prophylaxis and flea and tick preventative. In the worst case scenario, the serious symptoms of filaria and flea and tick infestation can lead to death.

Precautions for vaccination
Vaccinations may rarely cause side effects.
After vaccination, you may experience symptoms such as loss of energy or appetite, mild fever, and loose poop. Most cases improve without treatment.
In rare cases, abnormalities such as high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, facial swelling, and itching (severe allergic reactions) may occur. In this case, please contact the hospital immediately.
We recommend receiving vaccinations in the morning or early afternoon so that if any side effects occur, they can be treated on the same day.
